🔌Charging Your Buddy Secure & Buddy Watch: A Step-by-Step Guide

Below you’ll find the steps for charging your Adult Buddy Watch with the default charging cable that comes along with it. Wireless charging instructions are also available below.

Warning: Please ONLY use My Buddy Gard provided wall charger not any other charger, like your phone charger or etc. because they are fast chargers and can damage your watch battery, or alternatively just charge it using your laptop.

How to Charge Your Buddy Secure and Buddy Watch

Follow these simple steps to charge your Buddy Secure or Buddy Watch:

Step 1: Locate the Charging Port

• Flip the watch over to find the charging port on the back.

Please Note: Most laptops and computers are designed to go into sleep mode and will cut the power to the USB port when they do so. Make sure that your computer is plugged in and turned on when charging to avoid having flat battery. Other fast chargers & mobile phone chargers will damage the watch and can potentially break the charging port.

Step 2: Use the Supplied Charging Cable

• With your purchase, you will find a charging cable.

• Plug the cable into the Buddy Charger (supplied with the watch).

• Connect the other end of the charger to a wall socket.

• Place the charger onto the back of the watch over the charging port.

Step 3: Charging with a Wall Socket

• Once connected, wait a moment until the watch indicates that it is charging (you may see the My Buddy Gard logo or another charging indicator).

• It takes approximately two hours to charge the watch from 0% to 100%.

Please Note: The wire can only be connected in one direction. It won’t let you connect the wire in the opposite direction.

Step 4: Alternative Charging via USB

• Alternatively, you can charge the watch using your computer or laptop.

• Plug the charging cable into the USB port of your computer or laptop.

• Place the charger onto the back of the watch.

• Wait a few moments until the My Buddy Gard logo appears, indicating the charging process has started.

Check to see if the screen comes on and shows that it is indeed charging.

Incorrect Ways of Charging

Please Note: Adult Buddy Watch Magnetic charger only connects one way.

Warning: Do not try to tape the charger to the watch in the incorrect way.

Do not hold the magnetic charging cable to the watch the incorrect way when it’s plugged in as it will damage the circuit board inside and the watch may never charge again.

Using a Wireless Charger

Please Note: The watch only fits on the magnetic charger just one way don’t try to force it any other way because it won’t work and the magnets would actually push the watch away from the charger and while the charging dock is fully charge it charges your adult buddy watch one and half time from empty.

Step 1

Prepare your wireless charging kit. Connect the USB-A to the charger and connect the micro USB to the wireless charging dock.

Step 2

Place your Adult Buddy watch onto your wireless charging dock. Make sure the charging ports are positioned correctly as seen on the picture below.

Step 3

Charging icon will flash on your Adult Buddy watch with a percentage indicator of how much it is already charged. When it reaches 100%, then your Adult Buddy watch is fully charged.

Please Note: If charging indicator already reached 100% and you forgot to remove it immediately, do not panic. Your watch is safe. It will not overcharge your Adult Buddy watch.
