# How to Change the Screen Brightness on Your Buddy Watch or Buddy Secure

## Follow these steps to adjust the screen brightness on your Buddy Watch or Buddy Secure:

### Step 1: Activate the Screen

* Press any button on the side of the watch to activate the screen.

### Step 2: Access the Settings Menu

Swipe through the screen until you reach **Settings**, then tap on it.

### Step 3: Find the Brightness Setting

* Scroll down within the settings menu and select **Brightness Settings**.

### **Step 4** : Adjust the Brightness

* You’ll see a **firefly** icon indicating the brightness level.
* Tap on the icon to cycle through the brightness levels: **low**, **medium**, and **high**.
  * The brightest setting will give you maximum screen visibility, but it will also consume the battery faster.
  * For longer battery life, keep the brightness at a lower level when possible.

### Step 5: Save Settings

* Once you’ve selected the desired brightness, tap back to exit the menu.
