# How to Change the Date and Time Settings on Your Buddy Watch or Buddy Secure

## Step-by-step instructions

Follow these steps to adjust the date and time on your Buddy Watch or Buddy Secure:

### Step 1: Activate the Screen

* Press any button on the side of the watch to activate the screen.

### Step 2: Access the Settings Menu

* Swipe through the screen until you reach the **Settings** menu and tap on it.

### Step 3: Find Date and Time

* Scroll down to the bottom, tap on **More**, and then select **Date** and **Time**.

### **Step 4**: Automatic Date and Time

* By default, **Automatic Date and Time** is turned on, meaning the watch updates according to the network.
* The **Automatic Time Zone** is also enabled by default.

### Step 5: Manual Date and Time Adjustment (Optional)

* If the date or time doesn’t update correctly, you can turn off the automatic settings.
* Manually set the date, time, and time zone by entering the appropriate information.

* You can also select either the **24-hour format** or the **12-hour format (AM/PM)**.

### Step 7: Save Settings

* After making your changes, go back to the main menu, and the new settings will be applied.
